Flange and Weld End ANSI/API 6D Type Ball Valves

Cyclonic Valve Company's extra-heavy wall full and reduced port floating ball valves are among the strongest and safest valves available. Made from solid steel barstock, our valves completely eliminate the problems associated with undetected casting flaws and porosity. And our "No-Joint" body with full ANSI bolting resists both pressure spikes and mechanical line stresses far in excess of standard "2-piece" bolted body valves.

150/300/600/900/1500 Class Valves

BODY AND RETAINER: API 75K (4130) and 4140 steel is standard. Physical strength exceeds both A105 forged and WCB cast steels. B16.34/B31.1 materials available. Any other steel or alloy is available. Our 300 class standard body wall thickness exceeds ANSI B16.34 900 class requirements. Our 600 class exceeds 1500 class requirements. The retainer is triple-sealed and the valve is tested at 200% of maximum operating pressure, far in excess of standard valves.

BALL: AISI 316 Stainless Steel with static discharge grounding to body is standard.

STEM: AISI 316 Stainless Steel, triple-sealed, with a DU®bearing. Adjustable packing available. Our stem diameters are among the largest in the industry.

SEATS: 150 & 300 - Carbon RTFE. 600 through 1500 - Delrin®. Any other appropriate compound including carbon or Kevlar® filled TFM® or PEEK® is available.

SEALS: Viton ® fluroelastomer standard. Any other appropriate compound is available.

LENGTH: Cyclonic's special "short-pattern" length (per API 6.D 2.4c) offers not only significant space savings in original installations but also simplifies re-piping and upgrading of existing systems.Short pattern multi-turn valves are easily replaced with Cyclonic valves. If conventional length is required, an ASME B31.3/B31.8 welded spool is available. Our weld end field repairable valves are available in both conventional and space saving lengths.

ENDS: Raised face ends per ANSI B16.5 are standard. RTJ ends available. Our tapped flanged end bolt/stud hole thread depth is 150% of API 6D 2.5e requirements.

DESIGN: Standard materials comply with NACE MR-01-75. All potential leak paths in the event of seal destruction due to fire are designed with secondary metal-to-metal sealing to exceed the latest revision of API-607 fire test requirement s (actual testing is pending). Additionally, tapped auxiliary connections up to 2'' NPT may be specified.
